The layout
The top tier holds the machine and the tamping mat. The middle tier holds the grinder, cups and a small bean canister. The bottom tier takes the knock box, cleaning cloths and a spare bag of beans. Lock the wheels when you are pulling shots; unlock to roll the whole station out of the room for calls.
Why a cart
A desk is for work. Putting the coffee on a cart keeps grounds off the keyboard and lets you move the noise of the pump away from the microphone when you are on a call.
Budget notes
Most of the money is the machine. A hand grinder keeps the total down and the cart quiet; move to an electric espresso grinder later if you find yourself making more than three drinks a day.
