The Encore is the grinder we recommend to everyone who has just discovered that pre-ground coffee goes stale in days. It grinds evenly enough for pour-over, AeroPress and French press, and it is built to be repaired rather than replaced.

The one honest caveat: it is not an espresso grinder. If a Gaggia is in your future, budget for the ESP version or a dedicated espresso grinder.
