The layout
Sixty by forty centimetres is one end of a kitchen counter or the top of a narrow sideboard. The kettle sits at the back left with its base cable tucked behind. The grinder sits back right. The tray lives in front and holds the dripper, scale and one bean canister so everything you touch daily is within reach and everything else is on the shelf above.
Why it works
- Water and grounds stay separate. Kettle on one side, grinder on the other, nothing drips into the burrs.
- One tray to wipe. Spills land on the tray, not the counter.
- Vertical storage. The shelf takes the cups, so the counter stays clear for pouring.
Upgrade path
Swap the dripper for an AeroPress if you want a faster morning, or add a small milk frother for lattes. The footprint does not change.
